FIT offers a wide range of Technical and Consultancy Services to playing field owners and managers, including:
- Performance Quality Assessment (PQA) Following a site inspection, we can provide a detailed analysis of the sports surface together with advice and recommendations.
- Performance Specifications The design of comprehensive specifications and drawings to be used in tenders for new projects and improvements
- Project Management Tailored to suit a client's needs for new site construction or existing site development.
- Risk Assessments This involves a comprehensive audit of the site and its risks. We'll also provide advice and guidance on current management practices and compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
- Soil Analysis A comprehensive range of soil sampling and advice.
- Recreational Planning Advice on planning for outdoor sport and play provision in the context of national and local planning policy.
All work is undertaken by a qualified MSc Sports Surfaces agronomist who is CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) certified and can offer advice and assistance on improving the quality of all playing surfaces.
